From the picturesque Sonamarg to the serene Wayil in Ganderbal, people have been dumping waste and garbage on the banks of the Sindh at various locations. This wanton pollution poses a severe threat to trout fish.
A resident while speaking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), urged the authorities to take swift action in stopping people from dumping garbage along the water body and establish designated waste disposal sites.
